"Pricking Card" is used for making the perforated patterns over which bobbin lace should be made. This product is a densely compressed card with a slightly shiny surface. The surface does not break up easily and the glazed surface prevents ink from bleeding into the fibres when transferring pattern markings. Pricking card should be used for all types of bobbin lacemaking but especially for the fine laces where pins are positioned very close together i.e., Honiton Lace, Bucks Point, floral Beds, Tønder, the various forms of "Flanders Lace" and so on. For postal delivery, two A3 sheets will fit comfortably into an Australia Post B6 Tough Bag.
